    Interactive planning model

Model the revenue potential behind answering more calls.

Choose your industry to load a conservative, editable example and see where the reliable inputs should come from. Then replace it with real numbers from your phone log, booking system, CRM, and sales records.

    Your business inputs

Industry selection now changes the example values and recalculates the model. Every value remains editable.

Use these verified sources for this industry

Medical: phone-system missed-call reports, completed appointment data from your scheduler, and collected revenue per new patient from billing records.

    Conservative editable example

A healthcare starting scenario built from published call-handling guardrails. Dollar value, raw call volume, and recovery remain editable planning assumptions.

Use collected revenue over one consistent period—first sale or 12 months
Use unanswered, abandoned, after-hours, and overflow calls
The share of qualified callers who typically become customers
A scenario assumption — not every answered call becomes revenue
The workload model auto-selects a starting plan. Choose another plan to recalculate the same revenue scenario with that monthly fee.
Important: Industry selection loads a conservative, editable planning example—not a forecast or a claim about your business. Published research is used only as a guardrail; replace every field with verified internal data before making a decision.

    After every call

    You see everything it said.

Nothing happens off the record. Every call arrives as a written summary — what the caller wanted, what was promised, what got booked. If you would have handled it differently, you change the script and it changes on the next call.

    • 1 You approve the script before it answers anything Nothing goes live until you have made test calls yourself and signed off on what it is allowed to say.
    • 2 It only speaks inside the scope you set Your hours, services, prices and policies. Asked anything outside that, it says so and takes a message instead of guessing.
    • 3 A human takes over the moment you want You set what gets transferred — anything sensitive, clinical, legal or complicated goes to a person.

    12-month modeled customer-value opportunity(Monthly recoverable customer value − monthly plan fee) × 12
This is a planning model, not a forecast, quote, promise, cash-flow model, profit calculation, or guarantee. It does not account for gross margin, revenue timing, normal operating costs, one-time implementation, duplicate or spam calls, cancellations, refunds, capacity limits, seasonality, taxes, or differences in lead quality. The live clock simply spreads the monthly revenue-at-risk estimate evenly across 30 days.
    Managed AI reception plans

Clear monthly capacity. Clear overages. No mystery bundle.

Every plan combines a configured AI receptionist with ongoing management. Choose capacity based on connected call time and carrier-billed SMS segments.

Not sure which plan fits? Size it from real call usage.

Choose a business type to load an editable workload example, or enter a typical month from your own records. The advisor checks minute and SMS capacity plus the minimum workflow needed for booking, routing, or intake; it does not estimate revenue.

Medical example: 160 inbound calls, 3.5-minute average, 70% AI coverage, 240 SMS segments, and 15% peak buffer. These are sizing assumptions, not an industry average.

Recommended starting plan AI Reception Plus
    Estimated minutes with buffer451 / 800

    Monthly allowances

Allowances reset each monthly billing cycle and do not roll over. AI receptionist minutes are shared between connected inbound calls and approved connected outbound calls. Connected calls may be rounded under carrier billing. Long texts, special characters, and emojis may use multiple SMS segments.

    Overage charges

Standard overage is $0.25 per additional AI receptionist minute and $0.06 per additional SMS segment. Overage or additional usage credits are billed separately. Repeated overage may make a higher-capacity plan more economical.

    Implementation

Standard one-time implementation ranges from $499 to $1,499. Month-to-month service does not include a fee waiver. A waiver may be available under a separately signed 6-month minimum agreement on Plus, Pro, and Elite; early cancellation makes the applicable waived fee due. Custom-scope fees are excluded.

    Feature conditions

Automated review requests require an approved destination and any required business-profile connection; related SMS counts against the plan. Elite outbound reminders require KYC, documented consent, and compliant workflow setup; connected time counts against included AI minutes. Elite chat setup requires a compatible website and supported Conversation AI configuration.

    Scope & compliance

Standard U.S./Canada use only. Carrier registration, regulatory requirements, international traffic, healthcare/HIPAA, multi-location deployments, broader outbound campaigns, payment capture, and custom integrations require scope review and may cost more.

    A defined operating role

Built to handle the first response — with clear human handoff.

The receptionist works inside an approved scope: answer, identify intent, collect details, book or route, document the call, and escalate when a person is needed.

Answers within a controlled knowledge base

Business information, approved FAQs, hours, services, and policies are configured and tested before launch.

Books, transfers, or captures a callback

Routing rules define when to schedule, when to transfer, and when to collect details for human follow-up.

    Creates a usable post-call record

Contact details, intent, summary, outcome, and next step can be stored and sent to the right team member.

    Questions before launch

What the calculator and plans do — and do not — promise.

Where do the calculator numbers come from?

Industry selection loads a conservative planning example. Published call-handling research sets broad guardrails, while customer value, raw call volume, AI coverage, SMS volume, peak buffer, and recovery remain editable assumptions. For a decision-quality model, replace them with your own call log, CRM or booking history, and sales data.

    Is the revenue result guaranteed?

No. It is an educational planning estimate. Answering more calls can create more opportunities, but actual bookings and revenue depend on lead quality, demand, pricing, staff capacity, follow-up, and many other factors.

What counts as a minute or an SMS?

Call usage is based on connected time and may be rounded to full minutes under carrier billing. SMS is billed by segment, not simply by the number of messages. Long messages, special characters, or emojis can create multiple segments.

What happens if usage exceeds the plan?

Standard overage is $0.25 per additional AI receptionist minute and $0.06 per additional SMS segment. Overage or additional usage credits are billed separately. We review usage and can recommend a higher-capacity plan when repeated overages make an upgrade more economical.

Can I keep my current business number?

Usually, yes. Calls can often be forwarded to the AI receptionist, or number-porting options can be reviewed. The final setup depends on your carrier, current phone system, transfer rules, and desired call flow.

Does it replace a human employee?

It is designed to handle a defined first-response role, not every situation. Complex, sensitive, regulated, billing, technical, or judgment-heavy calls should be transferred or documented for a qualified person.

Are setup and compliance costs included?

Standard one-time implementation ranges from $499 to $1,499 and is not waived with month-to-month service. An implementation-fee waiver may be available through a separately signed 6-month minimum service agreement on Plus, Pro, and Elite plans; custom-scope fees remain separate. Any carrier registration, special compliance, regulated-industry, international, multi-location, outbound, payment, or custom integration cost is disclosed and approved before launch.

Can healthcare or other regulated businesses use it?

Only after a separate requirements and compliance review. Standard plans do not automatically include HIPAA or other regulated-industry requirements, legal review, special data handling, or consent configuration.

Can I test the receptionist before it answers customer calls?

Yes. Every paid implementation includes guided test calls and a launch review inside the approved scope before the receptionist goes live. This is a managed acceptance process, not a public free trial. Implementation work, usage, and third-party costs remain subject to the approved scope and Nishstudios Refund Policy.
